Implementation Tips

The youth team offers several considerations for how programs could be more equitable. Among them: 

  • Allocating funding for more youth outreach
  • Identifying and stopping staff or participant mistreatment of others based on their race or other factors
  • Taking down common barriers to participation. These include lack of transportation and inability to pay program fees.
