Summary

This report discusses findings from year two of a five-year evaluation of The After-School Corporation (TASC)’s ExpandEd Schools demonstration project, an effort in 11 schools in three cities to extend the school day with high-quality learning and enrichment. Despite ongoing challenges, the schools demonstrated significant progress in areas including moving towards an expanded day for all their students and strengthening partnerships with community groups that collaborate on the expanded day activities.
