Summary
Wallace reflects on its five-year initiative to help 13 state arts funding agencies work more effectively on making the arts a bigger part of people’s lives. Most of the participating agencies did put a greater emphasis on arts participation, the study says, but whether this ultimately attracted more people to the arts is unknown.
