More than 50 percent of survey respondents rated the following topics “high priority” for strengthening citywide afterschool program coordination: 

• Leadership: Plan for sustainability, establish buy-in of stakeholders across sectors, and effectively communicate with partners and the public. 
• Common Data Systems: Use data for program planning and address ongoing training needs for staff.  
• Quality Standards/Framework: Coach providers about ways to use the data; use findings to improve programs and management, and encourage providers to collect and report data.
