Sahara Pradhan

Research Fellow

Sahara Pradhan joined The Wallace Foundation in 2025 as a Research Fellow. She is responsible for supporting the research unit in the development and implementation of new and current initiatives across all foundation focus areas.

Pradhan brings eight years of experience as an education researcher and evaluator in a variety of educational settings, including nonprofits, K-12 schools, higher education, and out-of-school programs. Pradhan came to Wallace from the Collaborative for Educational Services, where she was a research and evaluation specialist. In this role, she provided evaluation services, research consultation, and professional development to educators, administrators, schools, and districts. She previously worked as managing editor at Comparative Education Review, and as a research assistant for USAID’s Education in Crisis and Conflict Network.

Pradhan earned her undergraduate degree from Vassar College and an M.Ed. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Massachusetts in Education Policy, Research and Administration. Her research draws on interdisciplinary theories and methods to study how emerging technologies reshape and reorganize educational practices. Originally from Nepal, she enjoys traveling to new places. She also loves spending time with her two children—taking walks, baking, and reading favorite stories together.
